BABYMONSTER: The New Rising Stars of K-Pop

BABYMONSTER also stylized as BABYMONS7ER, is a new girl group under YG Entertainment that debuted on November 27, 2023. The group consists of seven members: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita. They are the first girl group to debut from YG Entertainment since BLACKPINK in 2016, and they have already gained a lot of attention for their talent, charisma, and diversity.

She has been dancing since she was six years old, and she is specialized in hip-hop. She is also a former member of a Japanese girl group called Shibu3 Project. She joined YG Entertainment in 2018, and she was the last member to be officially revealed on February 6, 2023. She has dimples and a charming personality. She is the oldest member of the group.

·         Pharita: She is the lead vocalist and dancer of the group. She was born on August 26, 2005, in Thailand. She is fluent in Thai and Korean. She loves going to the zoo and watching anime. She is the third Thai idol to debut under YG Entertainment, after BLACKPINK’s Lisa and fellow member Chiquita. She joined YG Entertainment in 2019, and she was the sixth member to be officially revealed on February 2, 2023. She is the tallest member of the group, with a height of 171 cm.

·         Asa: She is the lead dancer and vocalist of the group. She was born on June 15, 2004, in Japan. She is fluent in Japanese and Korean. She is also a former member of a Japanese girl group called Flower. She is one of the first female Japanese idols to debut under YG Entertainment, along with fellow member Ruka. She joined YG Entertainment in 2018, and she was the fourth member to be officially revealed on January 31, 2023. She has a cute and cheerful personality.
